Rolling slowdowns planned on I-5 at night next week in Seattle

Seattle City Light crews are continuing to relocate the existing overhead power lines over Interstate 5 near Northeast 189th and 195th streets to support the Lynnwood Link Extension project.

The work will require rolling slowdowns from Tuesday, Oct. 22 to the morning of Friday, Oct. 25.

From 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m., there will be slowdowns on the following:

Northbound I-5 between Northeast 80th Street and Northeast 189th Street.

Southbound I-5 between I-405 and Northeast 195th Street.
