Emerald City Comic Con rescheduled for August 2020

Amid all the Seattle-area event cancellations and closures, there's a silver lining for nerdom today.

Just a week after event organizers announced that Emerald City Comic Con will be postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, a new date for the popular event has officially been released: Aug. 21-23 at the Washington State Convention Center.

Current ticket holders still have the option to receive a full refund, or they can request that their tickets be transferred to the new date through March 27.

"We're so excited to pack our show into three unforgettable days this summer," wrote organizers in a tweet.
