KING 5 poll: Hospital capacity worries Washingtonians in coronavirus outbreak
An exclusive KING 5 News poll found that nearly one-third of those surveyed statewide think they will not get infected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Of those surveyed, 26% believe if they do get it, they will only have mild symptoms, and 28% say they are not sure.
We also asked how concerned people are about getting sick and if they're worried about hospitals getting too full.
The results show, when SurveyUSA asked 600 Washington adults, 33% said they are extremely concerned that they will get coronavirus and need a hospital bed, but a hospital bed will not be available.
