Gov. Inslee lays out plan to reopen Washington's economy in four phases

Gov. Jay Inslee on Friday announced that the state’s economy will reopen in four phases over the coming months.

The announcement came as Inslee extended the state’s stay-at-home order, which was slated to end Monday, to May 31.

“We are starting our careful, phased science- and data-driven process to reopen Washington’s economy while remaining steadfast in our commitment to the health of Washingtonians,” Inslee said during an afternoon press conference.

Inslee said there will be roughly three weeks between each phase, and the state likely won’t reach the third phase of reopening the economy — which would include the restoration of most business activities — until mid-July.

I am glad this is approach is phased and cautious.

I would say, have a good time for the Summer, because, one way or another, Fall and Winter are going to be pure hell in many ways. That's why it would be best to really hold back on reopening for a longer period.

Of course, if there were more help for the people who are not wealthy and not a corporation, that might be a solution to make delaying reopening less difficult and disastrous for us commoners, seeing how the above have had a nice big injection of generous stimulation from our coffers.

to protect its citizens.
Even though there are plenty of idiots running around here that will make re-opening less safe.
Hardly anyone I see wears a mask and some are hostile toward those of us who do.
Even in the best parts of America we are at the mercy of the least smart among us.
