Bellevue issues curfew, I-5 closed in Seattle
Both Seattle and Bellevue are under curfew tonight after looters broke into stores in downtown Bellevue. Hundreds of people are marching through downtown Seattle despite the curfew. I-5 through Seattle and I-405 ramps into Bellevue are closed.
6:17pm – Looters in Bellevue have broken store windows, including at the Cheesecake Factory.

6:15pm – Bellevue Police Chief Steve Mylett says the looters in his city planned this chaos. “They have tactics,” Mylett said. He added that they’re throwing bottles and rocks. A rock nearly missed his head.
6:10pm – KIRO Radio reporter Aaron Granillo witnessed armored vehicles moving through downtown Bellevue.

During the 1999 WTO protests in Seattle, while news crews followed Anarchist Agent Provocateurs in real time reporting their location, the police were busy using peaceful protesters for target practice claiming they could not find the vandals.
The only reason a police officer would tape over their badge number is because they are contemplating doing something wrong. Any police officer whose id number is covered should be fired. (in case it is not clear the sentence ended in PERIOD)
