Today in As the Republicans Turn on Each Other: A Koch-funded group, Americans for Limited Government, slams Washington State Republican Congressman Dave Reichert via the following press release:
When it counted, Rep. Reichert was nowhere to be found in the fight to defund Obamacare. Just three weeks after taking a symbolic vote in favor of defunding, when it finally mattered Reichert turned around and voted to allow funding for the implementation of Obamacare to take effect. By voting to fund it, Reichert now owns Obamacare just as much as if it had been a vote to adopt it in the first place. There is no running away from that fact.
No running! Is this a signal that Reichert will have a Tea Party challenger when he's up for election next year.

If he had not voted the way he did - he would have been out!

(108,035 posts)Which is why I find the article absurd. The two Eastern Washington Republicans stand a greater chance of successfully being primaried.

(23,761 posts)the thing I can't stand about him is that he got to this position by stepping on the graves of the Green River killer victims. And the weird thing about it is that it only took him 20 years to find the guy!!!!

(20,583 posts)is the brightest bulb. I think he got elected because of his looks and bland demeanor. I too didn't understand the hero worship over Green River. He missed a lot of clues over those 20 years.
