That was the most pathetic, undeserved win I've seen in a long time.

(53,778 posts)the officials.
The back judge, looking right at the play, failed to call that a Seattle player intentional batted the ball out of the end zone after it was dislodged from the Lions receiver just before he crossed the goal line.
It should have been a penalty against Seattle and the Lions ball half the distance to the goal.
Seattle dodged a bullet and the Lions got screwed by poor officiating.

I hate wins like this.

(53,778 posts)as it bounded into the end zone another Seahawk player batted it out of the back of the end zone, which should have been a penalty against the Seahawks.
The officials blew the called, they even huddled and discussed after the play and didn't reverse the call, or non-call rather, and give the ball back to the Lions on the 6 inch lines.
The Lions would have had 1st down there and most likely would have won the game.

(10,642 posts)It was an "illegal bat" by the Seahawk. Never heard of that before.

But you know what? The Seahawks owe me nothing. They have given me so many moments and seasons of unabridged unadulterated pure enjoyment, at this point, I'm just resting on their laurels.
I'm also moving away from NFL football due to the brain injuries. I'm ready to move on.
OK what was that Michael Bennett just said? He's crazy!
UH OH - that last play was a missed foul v. Seahawks too!
OMG...
