It will not effect me. What will affect the people I care about is Medicaid, but I'm not on it. freshwest Jun 2012 #2

I will feel sad for anyone with a pre-existing condition who can afford the ridiculous premiums, co-pays, deductibles and everything, who will now be $hit out of luck, but my household can't afford all of that.

We even looked into the state PCP (PCIP?) or whatever, but that was exorbitantly expensive as well. One third of our income would have had to go to health care insurance, leaving no money to run our business. Or else we would have to give up having a place to live.

Essentially, I live without health insurance and cannot afford it, and do not get medical care.

But I really want this plan to work for the generations that follow and expect it will eventually lead to national health care like Canada has, unless Romney gets elected and it all goes to hell.

So I have nothing to say to them, but maybe someone in different circumstances will have some advice.

So it's a good idea to do this, eridani.
