Obama campaign looking for local interns.

This particular note is for the 34th LD, but they need people all over, and Max can put you in touch with the right organizer.

I would like to introduce myself in case we have not yet met. I am the Field Organizer with Organizing for America, President Obama's Grassroot re-election Campaign for the 34th District here in Seattle. I handle the grassroots efforts in West Seattle, White Center, Burien and Vashon Island.

In order for OFA to be as effective as possible in the field this election cycle, the campaign relies heavily on our interns or Fall Fellows, and the program is just about to begin here in Washington. We are looking for interested High School and College students, as well people who are out of school, in and around your area. The candidate does not have to live in the 34th District, but our events will be in your vicinity from now until the election. The program offers community service hours or college credit and we look for people to give anywhere from 15-40 hours a week. More details about the program and ways to submit resumes and applications are on the flyer attached to this e-mail.

The experience gained from interning on a Presidential campaign is limitless and unparalleled. So please spread the word or forward this e-mail to people you think may be interested; political junkies, friends who have children in high school or college, neighbors, etc. Thank you so much for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
Max Sitcov
