$5,000 reward offered in Renton church hate crime
The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information about a hate crime committed at the United Church of Renton on two occasions earlier this month.
Someone set off explosive devices on an outdoor display featuring several doors at the phrase "God's doors are open to all."
The vandal also wrote "Leviticus 20:13" on one of the doors. Leviticus 20:13 says "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." (King James Version)
Anyone with information on the crimes can contact the FBI's Seattle Field Office at (206) 622-0460 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips may also be reported anonymously at tips.fbi.gov.
