.....Just before Walker's re-election in 2014, 49 percent of Wisconsinites approved of the Wisconsin governor while 47 percent said they disapproved, according to Democratic-leaning PPP. The latest finding from the pollster found Walker's approval has dropped, with 43 percent of Wisconsinites saying they approve of the job he's doing while 52 percent said they disapprove. Another 4 percent said they were unsure.

The change seems to be a shift in opinion among independents, PPP said. Before Walker's re-election 48 percent of Wisconsin independents said they approved of the job Walker is doing while 45 percent said they disapproved. Now though just 36 percent said they approve of the job he's doing while 57 percent said they disapproved.

The new poll comes a day after Walker signed a new right-to-work bill into law. The poll found that 42 percent of Wisconsin voters said they support the law while 44 percent said they oppose it and another 14 percent said they were unsure.

The poll was conducted among 1,071 Wisconsin voters between March 6 and March 8. It had had an overall margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Independents are the key swing voters

of the 4% that are unsure, I'd bet they are leaning thumbs down

Still, this is good news. It warms my heart to see not everyone is still buying his bullshit.

I guess the best we can hope for is that he gets his ass handed to him on the national stage, then (gulp) we live through three years of a (possibly) weakened administration and come up with a candidate to beat him next time around.

Bottom line: at least this shows that some citizens of our state are paying attention and realizing that Scotty doesn't give a shit about Wisconsin. I hope all the people who have voted three times against their own best interests realize the reality of what Walker brings to the table next time.

I am hopeful that things will change, but he has really messed this state up.

who might vote in presidential elections vs those who might vote in off year elections.

Ie when you look at most of the state Walker probably already had a 40-50-10 approval rating

But when you look at off year election voters it was more like 50-50.
