Just came up here to visit my boy that moved here 6 months ago,but he works so much he has not been out exploring.
I was here 15-20 years ago but don't get around as good now,any suggestions that require little walking would be appreciated.
Gonna go down to the riverwalk and get a pic with the bronze Fonz, need input on other things.

Great dining at the Comet Cafe on Farwell.
The Art Museum is very cool, and Discover Center next door has a Les Paul Museum.
That should get you going!

Just got here yesterday, and all I have done so far was find a bar open at 2:00 pm where I could get a cocktail while waiting on my kid to get off work, and they don't let you smoke in bars here :/
Think I would dig the Les Paul Museum.

The number of ethic pockets in Milwaukee is surprising.
It all really depends on your taste, but here's a couple good lists:
Trip Advisor (If you are going to get a picture with the Fonz, you need to go to Leon's which was the basis for Arnolds; Blue's Egg can't be beat for breakfast/brunch; if you like beer, I really like Lakefront; La Casa de Alberto is fantastic Mexican)
Yelp list of best ethnic to get a feel for what is offered
Think we may go to Leon's tonite for a start.

(5,902 posts)Friday fish fries were pretty cool, drank many bloody marys, did "shake of the day" in a number of bars/taverns and actually won once.
Went to the casino,Harley museum,riverwalk,Leons.
The thing I found coolest was when we went about 50 miles west of Milwaukee and there were miles and miles of family farms with 1-2 $million of equipment in the backyard in buildings to work the farm.
It used to be like that here years ago until ADM and other "corporate farmers" came in.I miss the days of family farms.
I had a big time and will go back even tho I couldn't smoke in the bars.
Y'all have a lovely state.
