Already voted a few weeks ago. Mr. AC was in line at 0700 and was number #61 in southeastern Dane County with too-young-to-vote-yet son in tow.

(21,946 posts)a vow not to get out of bed before noon. He's been pretty faithful to that, then stays up till all hours of the night.

(18,964 posts)Spouse and I voted at 9:20 AM...#'s 333 and 334 out of a ward with ~1250 registered voters
Three wards in the voting site...5, 6, & 7
Ward 5 (my ward) has a bunch of workforce, subsidized and low-income apartments in it......smallest lines
Ward 6, blue-collar and middle-management mixed LONG, LONG LINES
Ward 7: about the same mix as 6...medium lines.
Registration table FULL...some young guys in hoodies and jeans...a few elderly...
not sure what to think about these numbers...school board referendum on the ballot...saw a lot of teachers I knew in the lines for 6 and 7....the school board referendums have been incredibly successful in the past...the "YES"" COMMITTEE has been very active and successful in encourging teachers and public to get out to vote.

(17,276 posts)Nothing unusual. Average turnout. We are not in the city of Waukesha but in a suburb.

(3,974 posts)Lots of baseball hats and confused angry faces. They seemed quite motivated.
Apparently a high turnout in the Republican Fox Valley- sure seems like it.
