Related: About this forumSuggestions for Green Bay area restaurants?
Good afternoon, WI neighbors- I will be visiting Green Bay next week and would love some tips on finding good local (preferably union supported) restaurants. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Best meal in town: Plae Bistro (http://www.plaebistro.com)
Everything on the menu is fantastic, and the specials are always creative.
Best Pasta: Grazies Italian Grill (http://www.graziesitaliangrill.com)
Not a chain, pasta made fresh daily. Their Tequila Lime, Thai Ginger, or Spicy Garlic dishes are three of the
best pasta dishes I've ever tasted.
Best Sushi: Little Tokyo (http://www.thegreenbaysushi.com/)
There are more expensive Sushi places, but none with more charm! Try the Green Turtle!
Best Coffee: Kavarna (http://www.kavarna.com/) or Luna Cafe (http://www.lunacafe.com/)
Can't go wrong with either one.
Tied for Best Pizza
Jakes Pizza (http://diningfolio.com/Green_Bay/Jakes/)
It takes about 45 minutes to make a pizza but worth every second!
Cranky Pats Pizzeria (http://www.crankypats.com/)
Thin crust heaven!
Enjoy your stay!

(22,340 posts)I'm down in Oshkosh, so I don't get up to Green Bay a lot, but try to get to Kavarna when possible.
Edited to add: Urban Frog (which is right by Kavarna) is good, too. Good smoothies and sandwiches.

(198 posts)Good people. Good food. Good prices. Just west of the river between Walnut and Dousman on the west side of Broadway Street.
