Purge the GOP in november

What has that party done, in our best interests, since Walker was elected?
--Reduced access to vital services; police, fire, school, voting services have been restricted, reduced or eliminated.
--Census redistricting to create one of the worst gerrymanders in US history. We can't let them at that again.
--Corrupt legislative practices using ALEC and other lobbyists to write all legislation for them. They can't do it on thier own.
--Oil sand fracking is all but DOA, that cost us millions. Walker funded an airplane company...now bankrupt and we paid millions.
Many of the GOP 'efforts' were ruled unconstitutional by federal courts, sp why did they even write illegal laws...are they stupid or treasonous?

Walker lost and now we need to end the careers of Vos, Fitzgerald, Steineke and the rest of the lowlife toadies of bad corporates who seem to think the only way to run a business is by legislative favoritism. Can they make a product people might want? Time for the kids to take over those companies.

We can elect real people who can do the job, so to get the GOP back in line....they get a time out to change thier tune.

The world will not end, you will not be raped, or robbed by illegals and you certainly will not see the end of civilization by purging the GOP.
The party will be forced to moderate and start picking candidates who understand, not be told, how the state govt operates.

Go vote NOW for Aug primary. Every municipal clerks office is open for voting.

Step two: spray and disinfect.
Step three: deodorize for sulfur.
Step four: lock 'em in the dungeon.

Blue Stevens Point was closed, sending people to red Waupaca, red Marshfield, and purple Wausau.

locally to keep at least a part-time job center in Marshfield

State cut funds...only one job center per county...unless...locals or county pay

Got City/ NCWDB to share cost...had to bitch at common council to get the paltry ($12,000) to keep it open.

can't last forever.....

Luckily, I'm disabled and don't need them anymore, but their Central location looks like it's impossible to park near.

Thanks for your involvement. Marshfield has a brighter future since that mayor from Alabama (Mr. Haney?) sold his motel and fled.

funny story:

The Mayor you're referring to was Richard Daniels....

after he resigned and escaped prosecution, he BOUGHT THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR TO ME! He lived there for a number of years until he sold his house as a CBRF (for a handsome profit I might add) and moved to either Texas or Arizona....he was never clear about which...

How did he escape prosecution? There is a vagary in the law that says the activity is not illegal if you acted upon the advice of an attorney....the "then" City attorney wrote a statement for the newspaper that the Mayor was acting on his advice....sooooo "get out of jail free"....literally

The City Council may have thought along those lines.

I'll be in town this next week sometime. I wonder what other changes I'll notice.

Go to the Post Office on Chestnut and take a look at what we did to the lot with old News Herald Building and "Professional Building"..it's one of the things I'm still proud of.

10. Thanks, and the gasoline to Green Bay

Gasoline used to be transported to Green Bay via a pipeline, from the 1950's, which leaked and Walker decided to not repair it. So every drop of gasoline and diesel fuels are shipped from Milwaukee via trucks. This raised the cost per gallon to nearly 5¢ per gallon for Northeastern Wisconsin consumers.
The GOP is certainly not going to let any legislation fix or replace that pipeline, as the trucking industry's donations are too large to aggravate.

The broken pipeline may have never been checked, emptied and made safe for ground water contamination. The GOP's assault on open records made sure we may never know what that one problem is doing now, years later.

Voters can, and should know that voting to purge, is not to legally kill off the political party, but only to give notice, that we do want and need conservative voices in governance. But that we also can, emphatically denounce, the current extreme right wing ideologies that obstruct daily social and economic functions.

Voter do have the power to require any candidate to fully disclose their intentions as candidates, using the media, the primary elections and more importantly, the party nomination processes to reduce what I can only describe as very bad actors.
