Much better here in mid Wisconsin today but can smell the smoke and sky is still somewhat hazy.

The sun was pink through the haze, but the closer it got to the horizon the haze thickened like clouds and blocked it out.

Yesterday was pretty good. Mostly clear skies. I hope today will be decent enough, too.

Don't you love, though, how it's a big news story when it hits NYC, but no one cared when it was thick here two weeks ago and I think I've only seen one national story on how it's hitting here now.

It's like the wastewater covid monitoring map in that you can pick on a dot and it will tell you the current readings and exactly where they are coming from.
