Ciara Matthews back in the news

"We didn't talk about it at the time, but there was a recent kerfuffle in the Romney campaign because a campaign person in Colorado had only been allowing press to speak to Romney on the condition of not talking to him about Akin or abortion in general. The Romney campaign said that this was the action of the particular campaign staffer, and that the campaign does not operate that way.
Today we find out that the maverick press wrangler is a familiar face to those of us in the Badger State - it's none other than former Walker campaign press person Ciara Matthews. According to a TPM article today Ms. Matthews has been removed from duties involving dealing with the press directly, although she still remains part of the Colorado Romney campaign.
