Wisconsin: Lori Compas to launch Wisconsin Business Alliance on 9/27

Lori Compas is known to many as the woman who had the courage to take on Republican incumbent Scott Fitzgerald in Wisconsin Senate District 13. But before Compas became a grassroots hero, she was (and still is) a small business owner. On Thursday, 9/27/12, she will combine her passion for progressive politics and business with the launch of a new organization, the Wisconsin Business Alliance.
Lori Compas explained her rationale for the formation of her new venture via email: Im often asked whether Ill run for office again. The simple answer is that I just dont know. I enjoyed being a candidate, but for now Im working full-time on launching a new organization, the Wisconsin Business Alliance
I think the best way I can help the causes we believe in particularly education, health care reform, government transparency, and conservation is to make a strong business case for them.
