http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2013/05/23/20843926.htmlWhat the fuck?? strip searching students to find a cell phone? I'd be cracking some fucking skulls if my kid was involved in that shit.
snip - School board spokeswoman Nadyne Brochu admits the teachers went too far.
"It was a disproportionate action under the circumstances," she said.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS IT OK, you asshole.

(10,103 posts)2. Disgusting, but I'm not surprised.
I wondered when this kind of overreach was going to hit here, too.

"They put us in a small room," one teenage girl, who didn't give her name, told QMI Agency. " They said) 'take off your bra, then raise your arms.' They even tapped us on the back."
"Take off your bra raise your arms"? So what would be the point of tapping them on the back? Were they stripped to the waist like it sounds or not? No point of tapping someone on the back if they don't have a shirt on.

(1,437 posts)10. Not sure, but I know what you mean,
maybe by tapped she meant patted, like to check under the shirt, but then why remove the bra?? Have to wait for more info I guess..

(751 posts)9. This is why bullying is so rampant in Canada...
...people in positions of authority do it far too often. If anyone in a position of authority abuses their power, ESPECIALLY when dealing with a minor, they should be relieved of their job and face a lawsuit as appropriate. Disgusting.
