Working?

Why is this day once every five years or so not a national holiday?

Harper gone and a majority Liberal government. I feel like I now have my country back, a country whose leader's values mirror mine instead of a leader who hated Canadians and Canada's values.

I would have been happy as well had it been an NDP majority government. ABC all the way for me.

For me it was ABC!!! I didn't really care for how it was done as long as King Harper was gone. He stepped down as leader of the party but I hear he still will be an MP sitting across the aisle from the Liberals. I wonder how long he will be able to stand that.

Conservs. really can't do much even if they got all the other parties to come on board and try and defeat what the Liberals want to put through.

Unfortunately I live in one of the mostly Blue provinces. I guess they still believed in all the scare tactics that the Conservs spewed...
Plus Pierre Trudeau, Justin's Dad was so hated because of the oil thing and it is no surprise that they still would vote Blue. The other Blue province is also big into oil so I guess the people thought the same.

If PM Trudeau can show them he is not someone to fear and actually does some of the things he said he would, I think he will be more successful in these 2 next time.

First thing he says he'll do is lower the taxes on the Middle class and raise taxes on the rich. We will see......
