Tony Blair to appear before Leveson Inquiry

Former Prime Minister Tony Blair is to appear before the Leveson Inquiry next Monday.

The inquiry into media standards is currently examining the relationship between press and politicians.

On Tuesday Education Secretary Michael Gove and Home Secretary Theresa May face questions.

The next day, Business Secretary Vince Cable and Justice Secretary Ken Clarke will appear. Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt will give evidence on Thursday.

Ok, so court security is lax--you can't enter via the front, you go by the back (sounds like King's Quest)

There was no pie throwing (evidently, Mr. Blair is a more dangerous target to throw anything at than Murdoch Sr. or Jr.)

He also got more publicity than Blair.

I think its possible he will be charged with something or other despite the fact he was released almost immediately. Whether or not a jury would find him guilty is a different matter - he can elect to be tried by a jury if charged.

btw - it will be interesting to see what the jurors have to say when the usual suspects come to trial. I think there will careful jury selection for that reason.
