Comedian John Fortune has died at the age of 74.
His agent said the veteran satire comic died peacefully with his wife Emma at his bedside.

Sad. Bremner, Bird and Fortune did some great work; I was afraid that him dropping out of "Ed Reardon's Week" on Radio 4 meant that he was ill, and that seems to have been the case.
