Is the 2018 TX US Senate Race going to be like the 2006 VA US Senate Race or TN US Senate Race?

2006 VA US Senate Election- Beto O'Rourke narrowly defeats Ted Cruz ie Jim Webb narrowly defeated George Allen.
2006 TN US Senate Election- Beto O'Rourke narrowly loses ie Harold Ford Jr.
