2020 Democratic Presidential Candidate- Sherrod Brown(D-OH) can not be on the 2020 Democratic Ticket

Because if Brown(D-OH) wins the 2020 US Presidential Election against Trump/Pence-R, Governor Mike DeWine(R-OH) will appoint Brown's successor to the US Senate. Whoever DeWine-R appoints is going to be a Republican and is going to be favored to win in the 2022 Special Election. DeWine-R could appoint Kasich to Brown's Vacant US Senate Seat.
