2020 CO US Senate Election- Perlmutter-D and Neguse-D are the 2 CO Dem. US Reps. to run for US Sen.

Perlmutter-D tried to run for statewide office last year- Governor but dropped out because he had to compete in the primary against his fellow CO DEM US House Coleague Jared Polis, who had a lot of money and support from the establishment. Perlmutter-D runs for the US Senate and stays in the race if he gets endorsements from the CO Democratic Establishment- Hickenlooper, Polis, and Bennet.
Neguse-D ran for statewide office in 2014- Secretary of State and lost in the general by a narrow margin. 2014 was a Republican wave election year. What will prevent Neguse from running is Romanoff. Neguse worked for Romanoff when he was working at the State Capitol as an assistant. Neguse-D will probably endorse Romanoff-D in the primary.
Perlmutter-D and Neguse-D also represent Democratic leaning US House Districts.
If Romanoff-D gets the Democratic Nomination. He has to win the general election without winning the popular vote in CD-6.
Here is how Romanoff-D does it.
75 percent in CD-1,
60 percent in CD-2 and CD-7,
45 percent in CD-6,
40 percent in CD-3
35 percent in CD-4, and CD-5.
