Any DVD burning software preferences our there? Edited.

Last edited Sun Feb 5, 2012, 09:45 PM - Edit history (1)

I've been limping along with the slooooow and occasionally functional Windows DVD Maker and it's driving me crazy.

EDIT! I have Nero but I need to burn family movies (avi) to disc for home DVD players. Nero doesn't seem to work for that.

Looking for something quicker, more reliable and hopefully with a few extras (like titling etc.). There are so dang many out there I was hoping you good folks could help me avoid the stinkers.

I was going to post this in the free/open source forum but I'm willing to pay a few bucks for something decent.

I'm using Windows 7 btw.

Thanks!

I had problems with it but I suppose they've worked out the bugs by now. Maybe its time to give it another try.

Thanks

It works on Win 7 too. It is great for doing .iso files. Just drag and drop the .iso onto the icon and hit burn. Its free.

I can afford that!

I need something to burn home movies (.avi) to DVD. Looks like it does that. When I get back home, I'll check it out.
