How do I disable..

a program called Beats Audio that came with my new Windows 7 HP desktop. I unchecked it from my start up programs. But there is a little light on the front of my computer that keeps blinking at the beats audio button (it's not really a button, just a logo). I have searched on the internet but cannot find how to totally disable it. It doesn't show up in "uninstall a program" either. I just feel like it's "doing something" or running or something. -- why is it still blinking?

thanks for any suggestions.

5. Actually, I DID sleep in late today. I wasn't out of bed until 9:10.

I'm usually up by 7:15. One of the dogs was crashed out next to me and I guess the warmth kept me asleep. The fucking phone rang at 9:00 (apparently my wife needs a tittie press) so I sort of had to come out of it to deal with the diagnostic center. I'm way behind on doing EVERYTHING today, and what am I doing? Posting on DU.

name BeatAudio. This codex is part of HP QuickLaunch.

2 possible ways to try: First, key together (Fn + B) should bring up BeatAudio option page which should have some choices.

Second, use the utility CCleaner tools function->startup list to find the HP Quicklaunch and disable it.

I went into the program but there is nothing there to disable it. I'll see what CCleaner comes up with. I don't want to do anything dangerous.

thank you for this suggestion

again.

Also you can save the whole list (lower right corner) for backup before you change anything.
