Firefox 21.0 not supported

Sadly, the time has come to update my browser. I'm getting notices on gmail and youtube won't let me watch videos anymore with this version of FF. I don't want to change! I love how I have this version of FF set up. Tool bars are compact and take up little viewing space. I hate the way the latest version of FF looks and I don't need all the stuff they have added over the years. Is there a browser that is totally customizable in re: to moving tool bars, bookmark bars, etc? I don't need anything fancy and if I can't change the color from blue I don't want it.

I'm running Win7. Here's what it looks like now. Tidy and compact. Also need something easy for oldies to use

I appreciate any suggestions. And if you have something that looks akin to mine, a pic would be nice. Thanks!

One of the versions after 24 is where the major overhaul takes place. Another option is finding a different browser.

Search google for Firefox old versions.

keeping your current firefox like it is, and giving chrome a try a little at a time especially on any troublesome video sites. I have come to the conclusion its a far better browser at this point. Gave up on FF about a year ago.

I just wanted to mention that it seems like it may be a Google related website issue since Gmail and Youtube are both Google properties Not sure what that means except that it may not be a problem with the older browser except on Google sites.

One thing you might want to do is back up your current settings for FF21 using Mozbackup. The program is a bit dated but would be able to backup your bookmark folders and other settings so that if you ever have to reinstall FF21 you should be able to get all your customizations back very easily.

I was experimenting with an addon that spoofs sites by telling them you are running a different browser version. It seems to work but I was unable to cause a problem with Gmail or Youtube by telling them I was using FF21. I'll post the addon but you may want to wait until you have exhausted other solutions before considering using it. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-overrider/ (Uninstalling the addon seems to put everything back as it was before but because I use the Nightly build of FF some addons behave differently then in established versions of FF. The icon for this addon doesn't always display properly in Nightly which makes it difficult to figure out the first time you use it and I can't verify that this is solely a Nightly quirk.)

I do keep FF21 installation app on my desktop. I downloaded the latest FF recently just to see what was what. Blech! Just had to uninstall it and re-install my 21 and everything was exactly the same as before. So, that I'm not worried about. I actually haven't changed my profile since I started using FF back in 2004. Yes, Google is taking over the world as we know it. I have Chrome installed now but, will only use it if necessary. I can download a youtube vid with a firefox add-on if I really need to see one.

I've had Gmail forever and have it forwarded to T.Bird. Got too used to Outlook to use just a web mail. If the Googles want to dump me from Gmail, I'll go my 'extra' email and get out of Google for good.

Really appreciate your suggestion and info. For now, I'll keep doing what I'm doing. Jump off the bridge when I get to it!

Thanks!
