looks like a busy day for me today.
Doing an upgrade to Windows 7 on one computer, trying to finish a build, find and replace a keyboard on a laptop, and reinstall Windows on another laptop that somebody hosed the install on. And somebody just called and has a virus on theirs.
That's the way it works, nothing for days and then everything at once.

(41,694 posts)My friend's work computer that she does medical billing on had the hard drive die completely. Replaced drive and got her up and running, now she has to get the software people to reinstall the billing software and and restore the data files from backup.
2 more laptops-one with failing drive, saved data and upgraded to 7 from vista on new drive. The other one the guy's nephew blew away the 7 and installed Ubuntu-which somehow got majorly glitched, all the passwords no longer work. He wants it wiped and 7 put back on-no problem as it has the COA sticker on the case.
But I did sell 2 of the computers I got stacked up here-just in time to pay my property taxes.
