Big black YouTube advertising box appears on pages and won't disappear..anyone else seeing this?

Running the latest Firefox browser, on Ubuntu.
sometimes when I open pages on teh web, there is a big black Youtube advertisement, which cannot be removed, even clicking the big X in the upper RH corner does not work.
Ad Block does not work..ghosetry does not prevent it.
But Chormium browser does not show the box on the identical page.

Nope......nothing I mouse click does any good.

I just reported it via Ad Blocker.....

Seems to be a FF feature.

Edited to add...it washes out and freezes the page, so no navigation is possible while box is there.

I have had those symptoms occasionally in the past but I cant repeat them now on that Rolling Stone ad.

A lot of times these things clear up in a day or two after the webmaster gets enough complaints.

I use FF Nightly so am used to waiting a few days for quirks of the current build to be corrected. I always blame it on Nightly but sometimes it is probably the website.

More and more I am using Chromium browser. It is faster, easier to use, has very intuitive features.
