Learning to live with W-10

OK, it's different from XP.
But I'm learning it.
Just downloaded Firefox and seems to be working OK.
The new Dell laptop has white on black keys and I've found that this slows me down a bit.
Maybe I'll get used to it?

I'm starting to love mine. My poor old XP just didn't cut it anymore. Too many sites just aren't speaking to XP these days. Now I can listen to music while reading DU. No more script errors or waiting for videos to buffer. There's still a lot to learn about 10, though. Keeping my old brain ticking.

Windows 8 sucked because of the lack of a start button and the Charms thing. 8.1 was better because it booted right to desktop. Win10 is even better, but yes, some learning required.

I wish MS would quit changing stuff just for the sake of change but oh well. All tied into profits and the "new and shiny" marketing thing.

If you have any problems or questions, a good place to go is here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10?tab=Threads

The really hard questions get answered by MS staff engineers. Otherwise, knowledgeable users answer. You need an outlook.com account to be registered there, easy enough and free. To ask a question, you click on the "Participate" link near the top of the page. Good luck!

I checked in and looked around briefly and found a couple of answers without having to ask any questions. I'll be visiting there a good bit, I think.

(I am loving my new 10. )
