Just put in a SSD on my laptop.
Got a 128Gb for $100 and with a $20 mail-in rebate. Installed Mint 11 on it and tweaked some settings. Boots in 12 seconds.
Originally I put on Mint 12 but didn't like some of the changes from 11.

for your laptop. I am always looking for laptops that install linux easily without to much tweaking.
Thanks
