Online Backup Services
I'm currently paying $AU5.00 per month for an online backup service. Not a huge amount, but it only gives me 5GB of space. I've seen websites advertising other backup sites free that would give the same amount, but I know nothing about them. I certainly don't want to get stuck with a dodgy site, or one that's likely to disappear before long.
Has anybody had experience of online backups to share?

(1,206 posts)Hi there,
I would say that Dropbox is a great free option, up to the limit that they have for free usage. Otherwise, you have to use a pay service.
One of my former bosses uses Mozy Pro, and he's very happy with the service.
My pay service is Norton, and they pop up a small window to notify me that automatic backup has begun. The automatic feature runs 24 hours from the last time a backup was performed.
