How do I get Facebook to stop bugging me with "Suggested Page" posts

It's reached the point where they're practically one in three.

I've got AdBlock installed and it's not helping.

Using IE here at work and I get them all the time!

Also, I could've sworn last night that Facebook made a bleepy-bloop sound when someone liked a post of mine, even though I have all my sound settings set to "mute". I'm going to keep an eye on that tonight!

I tried Firefox once and it seemed like nothing but trouble, I use Maxthon. If I want to block something, I click on the little icon in the corner, select the item I want to block and click finish. Facebook is added to the blacklist.
