Can I download a song from You Tube and save it in I Tunes?

If so, is it complicated? I found a couple of songs I like and I thought I'd save them to I Tunes and download them to my shuffle if I can. Does anyone know how? Thanks in advance.

I use Real Player to download the YT videos and convert them to MP3 files which I then import into iTunes via the File menu option of Add File to Library. From there, it is a simple sync to your Shuffle.

I suspect there are other tools out there for downloading the YT videos directly into MP3 format. I'll let someone else chime in on that.

I sometimes make mp3s from Youtube videos. I use a Firefox extension called Video DownloadHelper to save the video and then I use FFMPEG to convert to other formats including mp3.
