Does this annoy anyone else? (Google)

You search for the answer to a question (specifically how to do something) and a search result is asking exactly what you want to know. Someone asked a knowledge community this question.

You click on, and instead of the answer, you see 50 people posting "What, you can't Google?" and "This has been answered 50 times before!!!" No crap - the answer to everything is on the Internet - in the same amount of time, the question could have been answered instead.

I don't care how lame the question or how simple the actual answer, those with the common sense and, in view of the shortage of basic respect, bravery to ask a question should not be treated in any way other than with courtesy. To answer anyone who questions you in a manner other than with gentle respect undermines your position in every sense.

This makes me wonder why someone with hostilities would go to answer the questions, perhaps just to feel superior.

...just as in politics, popularity does not imply useful content. Sometimes quite the opposite.
