HELP! I got that nasty Babylon malware creepy!
I ran Malwarebytes and got rid of what it found (all Babylon related) but when I rebooted used the computer and had to reboot again for updates to Windows or AVG or something to take affect and then restarted the bugger was back!
So I booted in safe mode (I'm still hiding in safe mode right now) ran Malwarebytes again, it once again found the same crap, got rid of it, and now I'm doing a defrag in hopes it won't come back again. AVG never found it, and I had just run the scan this morning while I was wondering if I had some creepy thing since the computer was doing a couple of odd things and slowed to a pen and paper crawl.
Is there anything else I need to do to get rid of this bugger once and for all?
TIA!

(11,065 posts)And since I really needed to free up space since my CPU usage is still at 100% for every single file even with nothing at all open than task manager to check that. At least I'm able to get here without hiding in safe mode anymore. I spent so long in there today that not I'm in the regular mode suddenly everything still looks so tiny to me.
