but the case to carry it in would be enormous, battery life would be abysmal, and how big a brick would one need to charge it. Not to mention the price!

It's their 15-Inch Retina Macbook Pro. The pixel resolution is the equivalent of a 30" non-Retina screen.

Battery life is the same as previous notebooks, with the exact same 'brick.'
