This is computer blackmail

Like I'm going to purchase a mac cleaner because I have a pop up trying to get me to click on "start scan now" to get rid of 10,000 problems it has found on my IMac. Nope, I'm happy to pay my guy to get rid of it.

They ought to go to jail for blackmailing me.

I’ve got “Apple needs my password type it in now” pop up every day. Have to cancel it 3 times, twice to get rid of it too. Time to take it in and all this shit removed again.
How can this be anything but blackmail?

make an appt and take it to them. or call their customer support. I'm sure others have had the same problem and they have a fix for it.

I had a few several years ago. They're sneaky little bastards.

Just search for "evercookie" to learn more.

It was recommended to me by an Apple tech and it has worked great for me. It finds the junk and quarantines it where you can decide to delete or not. There's a free version available, too.
