Arch Linux now has package signing

What will the slashdot trolls complain about now.

Seriously, I just performed a reinstall of all my packages out of the core repository and encountered no issues. I never really worried about package signing, as I don't use any of the mirrors, but I must say that the Arch developers did a nice job getting it right, without breaking the KISS principle of Arch or ruining the crown jewel of the distro that is pacman.

If you've never tried Arch, don't be put off by the horror stories. While it does require you to know your way around bash, it's not nearly as hard as people make it out to be. Plus, the Arch Wiki is, hands down, the best Linux documentation on the web.
