It's Ubuntu Release Day!
Ubuntu 13.10 ("Saucy Salamandar" -- what will they do once they hit "z"?) is out.
Marketing-ese press release here, nerd-ese release notes here. The main story is that this is a unified desktop for both PCs and mobile devices -- we'll see how well that works.
I'm going to wait and see how well it plays with Steam before I upgrade my gaming machine, but hopefully all will be well. If I can get back from Delhi in time I want to go to the Mumbai LUG release party for it this weekend.
