MONTGOMERY, Alabama- Republican women from across Alabama plan a news conference this morning to ask state Democrats to cancel a fundraising event in Huntsville Saturday with controversial television cable show host Bill Maher.
But, a state Democratic Party official said this morning that Maher will not appear at a party reception Saturday night before performing his standup comedy show at the Von Braun Center.
Bradley Davidson, executive director of the state Democratic Party, said this morning that Maher has not been invited to the reception and will not appear at the reception.
"They've been told that, but they continue to spread false information," Davidson said this morning. "They're getting their information from a Republican blog."

They are still trying to compare Bill to Limpballs, and there is no comparison IMO. Bill has said some stupid things, but nothing compares to Limpballs. Limpballs should have been gone a long time ago, but especially after mocking Micheal J Fox.

grab ahold of Bill Maher, as if they were a drowning person, and hold on tight hoping it will save them. If Limbaugh sinks, Maher will. They are hoping democrats and the blogosphere give Rush a break.
