advantage of right now. It's not Obama's weakness. It's collective weariness of war and skepticism.

Putin went one step further by having Snowden go in and tie that skepticism to Obama with the NSA leaks. Even though the programs were approved by Congress, etc., it doesn't matter.

to allow chemical weapon attacks to get a pass. But that's what the opponents are using. If not for Bush and his needless wars, it would not be an issue. More like Kosovo.

"But for all of these neocons stuck on the wrong side of history — Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, John Bolton, say the names loud and clear — it’s not a change in conscience at work; it’s a change in presidents. Later this month, dozens of Republicans in Congress will make the same decision, simply because they hate Obama, and would oppose him if he declared Grandmother Appreciation Day.

The voice that stands out most by his silence, the one that grates with its public coyness, is Bush himself. He has refused to take a side in the Syrian conflict. The president, he said, “has a tough choice to make.” Beyond that, “I refuse to be roped in.”

This is cowardice on a grand scale. Having set in motion a doctrine that touches all corners of the earth and influences every leader with a say in how to approach tyrants who slaughter innocents, Bush retreats to his bathtub to paint"
.

It's all true. But, this isn't about President Obama.. it's about Syria. It was somewhat impressive when Obama turned republicons against golf.. now he's turned them against intervening in another country!

To me Bush epitomizes evil, and he walked hand in hand with evil, but he managed to make an awful lot of ignorant (and some evil) people believe he was right. He so totally screwed up the response to 9/11 that it muddied the waters. Not to mention the bleepin' Patriot Act!
