Lie of the Year: “Obamacare is Unpopular”

The new RW talking point, that they repeat constantly, is that Obamacare is unpopular. Here is some information from NARAL setting the record straight.

ACA is a good thing, especially for women. Thank you, President Obama!

"The Affordable Care Act is many things– complicated, controversial, often frustrating – but calling it “unpopular” paints a picture that is both inaccurate and harmful. Here’s why that’s wrong, why it matters, and how to push back against it."

And among racist, homophobic, anti-women talk show hosts. And big insurance companies. And those completely brainwashed by Faux News.

is "unpopular".. they "speak for the American people", don'cha know?

From your link..

HOW TO DEAL WITH IT

When someone casually asserts that the law is “unpopular,” here’s how to respond:
•Actually, most Americans think the law is an improvement over the old system where insurance companies called all the shots.
•It’s true that most Americans agree it’s not perfect — but that includes BOTH people who don’t like anything Obama likes and liberals who think Obamacare doesn’t go far enough – but at least it’s a start.
•That’s why 4 out of 5 Americans say they want the law to work, and the individual parts of the law are also hugely popular.
•Radical Republicans like to pretend that they’re defending the will of the people when they attack the law, but they are actually working against what most people want, and Americans see that clearly.

Thank you, Kath!

who lost their coverage because it does not meet minimum standards of the ACA. Then who do they get mad at? The President. Not the insurance company or their employer.
