Paul McCartney was the special guest at the White House last night at a reception by President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle ahead of the Kennedy Center honours.
McCartney - and other guests including Oprah Winfrey - were in Washington to receive the prestigious awards recognizing lifetimes of work in music, theater and television.

Obama also declared it the "thrill of a lifetime" that McCartney had sung the Beatles song 'Michelle' to first lady Michelle Obama at the summer reception.

They are Massites! Steve Tyler was a customer in the store I worked in~

I danced my ass off there! Lakeview ballroom...oh the memories. I was so young~

Aerosmith played their first gig in Mendon, Massachusetts at Nipmuc Regional High School (now Miscoe Hill Middle School) on November 6, 1970. In 1971 ...

I think it is absolutely wonderful that we have a President who appreciates and cares about art and artists.

Would we have such moments in a Romney adminstration? I really doubt it.
