Yes he has aged in office. So much pain and stress. Here.

When President Barack Obama was sworn into office in 2008, he was 47 years old. Two presidential terms later, 53-year-old Obama has aged quite a bit as a result of his presidency. Using video fragments from every weekly address Obama delivered from January 2009 to August 2014, this time lapse video tracks his facial transformation over the last few years.

I have no clue how he deals with all the hate that is thrown in his face daily. His family is ridiculed and threaten as he himself is.

Yet the man continues to walk with dignity and grace.

The joy is in his eyes and his smile. And in the second video, despite the sides of aging, there is still that warmth and joy in his eyes. I think he will be allright, sheshe. The gates of hell have opened wide on him and this nation.

He will finish his course. When I watched that series on FDR, with all that he personally suffered, and still achieved, I find that some people are set into place to do some good and feel they are a blessing.

He will stay his course, that is the man he is.

The warmth and joy in his eyes may fade for a few minutes, yet no that will never die. It is not who he is. His passion and love for his family and each and every one of us carries him on.

His time in office has gone 'from the ridiculous to the sublime' (or the surreal) with the throngs of haters. I keep hearing this song:

Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right, here I am, Stuck in the middle with you. Yes I'm stuck in the middle with you, And I'm wondering what it is I should do, It's so hard to keep this smile from my face, Losing control, yeah, I'm all over the place, Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right, Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.

Don't think he's confused, though. He has a plan and he's going for it.

it would've been even more fitting of the "clowns to the left, jokers to the right" quote if the person who created it used someone like Ralph Nader or Glenn Greenwald instead of Ted Cruz on the left side.

I get your point, but think it doesn't apply. The results of the so-called Left can end up enabling the Right.

So that's how I define them now. IRL I've had to deal with so-called Lefties who have gone so far around the bend, everything they do benefits the Baggers. It's results that matter.

Utopia may or may not come in the future, and is never sure. People live in the present and can't wait for perfection.

Real people die behind those who have the luxury of rigid ideology. It's why I'm not buying anymore. It is part of the reason Obama is savaged here at DU so much.

His focus is on saving lives not known by many people. They don't excite the media passion we see pushed daily. They die without notice when people pride themselves on their ideology over those who need help now.

JMHO.

to his family have accounted for a large portion of the aging. He is not a man who would take that lightly. Heavy weights are upon those shoulders, but it is true that he always walks with dignity and grace.

which is going to include going grayer regardless of your job.

I also think he does not get stressed. He seems to have a spine of steel.

I am only a couple years older than he is, but if I look photos of myself 7 years ago and now, I have changed.

I am sure the stress of the job is hard (and even harder because of the hatred), but frankly, I am not sure that the slideshow shows anything abnormal.
