FOR BOG MEMBERS ONLY: Rachel Maddow - Republican voters ready for impeachment: poll

THIS IS THE BOG, IT IS A SAFE HAVEN GROUP CREATED BY THE ADMINISTRATORS OF DU. IT IS A PLACE FOR THOSE WHO SUPPORT DEMOCRATS TO CELEBRATE THE 44TH POTUS, BARACK OBAMA, ALONG WITH HIS FAMILY, ACHIEVEMENTS AND POLICIES.

IT EXISTS FOR THOSE WHO SUPPORT THIS PRESIDENT AND EACH OTHER. PLEASE CHECK THE PINNED THREAD FOR THE SOP (STATEMENT OF PURPOSE) OF THIS GROUP. THIS IS NOT A FORUM.

IF YOU CANNOT RESPECT OBAMA, DEMOCRATS, THE SPIRIT AND INTENT OF THIS GROUP, OR THE MEMBERS OF THIS GROUP, PLEASE DO NOT POST HERE.

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Yes, the impeachment threat may never materialize, I admit that. However, no one ever said racists were intelligent. High crimes and misdemeanors of the President = Presidenting while black.

I have his back !

That is what they've said all along, since he was elected in 2008, even before he took office in 2009. They even tried to say he didn't take the oath of office correctly. Anything to not have 'that man' in their 'white' house.

But it's not just about race. The symbolism of the first black president is something which they've always feared. Because it brings out everything that has made this nation lose its soul, slavery. It goes more to the deep truth of America's economic and social system than what was done to natives.

In my strange mind, the dicotomy of black and white is the conundrum by which we rise or fail. We can choose to fail, the Tea Party like Rush, Beck and the Libertarians want the nation to fail, to be dissolved. Easier to take control that way.

I'm not particularly into religion, but to my way of thinking and I admit that I entertain strange thoughts at times, the salvation of the white majority on a spiritual level cannot be achieved without embracing AAs.

Not in a tepid manner, but wholeheartedly. The regressives' worst fear is being exposed because and they know they are wrong. They must share this land, or lose it all.

Obama's open heart and higher purpose drives them crazy. They appear badly beside him, their guilt and bad qualities cannot compete and they know it so they make a lot of noise to divert the attention off their shame.

JMHO.

For what, one might ask? What did Obama do that deserves resigning? And there is a lot of Nixon love going on here, despite he was the last President to resign:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025794918#post21

And people want to have Obama resign?

It takes hip waders to get through the thoroughly toxic posting here now.

A post was alerted for showing how DU's Alexa activity rating was cut in half in the two months before the election, with the negativity, which is usually its highest rating.

I'm seeing way too much Foxian Toxic posting, all the same talking posts, attacking women, the poor and minorities in just the last few days.

And they are not using the icon, either.

TPTB preferred peaceful MLK figures over Malcolm X's, believe it or not:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1014&pid=941190

There are certain other possibilities to be explored, truthfully, but my money, at least for now, is mostly on "possible undercover anti-Democrat troll".

Do any of you know what would happen to ferguson and missouri if protestors were shot down in kill zones ? First the liberal white corporate democrats and black race hustlers who preach non-violence would be discredited along with the gun control for minorities governments. The n.r.a. slogan it takes good black men and women with guns to stop bad white cops with guns would be proven right. With african-americans arming themselves with assault guns to shoot back, marching down the streets of ferguson in their thousands the white corporate power structure that controls ameriKKKa would be compromised. This would be bad for corporate business who prefer dr. kings we shall over come to malcom X by any means necessary!

Woof! It had all the far RW points in there... I saw a post decrying how welfare moms get education grants and other such trollery on another post, didn't even bother to alert. Because the others in the thread agreed with him. The Cave is missing a few trolls.

I hadn't seen this before, although had seen the poster who I regarded as a troll right off the bat, fortunately was served pizza. His last post was dissing EarlG's pic of the day. Goodbye to him and hopefully he and his friends will get a warm welcome back under their bridge. He'll be back, they always come back.

I fully expect them to hang themselves, given enough rope. They'll likely impeach just for the temporary thrill even knowing it will backfire on them. When America sees these ravening wolves trying to savage an innocent, calm man, they might at last awaken to the evil within. After all, the turning point of the Civil Rights Movement was the March on Selma, where the country saw with their very own eyes the resolute, righteous protestors persisting in the face of brutality. Courage and dignity won the day.
