Wish I could be a Girl Scout again.

Someone recently posted a story about how there were Girl Scouts in a Japanese concentration camp in China in WWII. Still recognizable as my Girl Scout experience (with significant differences to account for, duh, concentration camp instead of summer camp).

But after heavy rain began to fall late Tuesday, accompanied by thunder, the campers were moved to a conference room in an office building adjacent to the White House.

Those lucky 4th graders got to meet the President as well. Cool~

According to the Article, there was a rain storm that came in and the got to stay in a conference room, IN THE WHITE HOUSE!!!!

Michelle Obama to the Girl Scouts, "Will you teach me how to do things?"

She is a class act. End of story. Both Barack and Michelle relate to kids
in deep and meaningful ways. I think they should both go and be teachers,
or coaches, or school principals after they get down w/all the crap they
have had to put up with.


BTW I wouldn't mind a camp out on the South Lawn of the White House.
