Guy Interrupts Broadway Production of "Hand to God" To Charge Phone (Video at link)

During a Broadway production of Hand to God at the Booth Theater, the site Broadway Adjacent reported that an audience member walked up to the stage to try to charge his phone. At first blush, we thought that this meant the man went up to the apron of the stage and charged it there. Nope! There's now video evidence showing that the rudest man on Broadway walked onto the stage to plug in his phone.

Broadway Adjacent even reports that after the ushers got him offstage and returned his phone, he had the nerve to ask, "Well, where can I charge it?" And then he wasn't even kicked out! Jeez, and here we thought texting during the performance would be rude.

The even crazier thing is that he had the nerve to ask the ushers where he could charge his phone! Initech Jul 2015 #2

If I hadn't of read the article I would've thought it was a joke. It makes you wonder why he went to the theater, if he was so obsessed with his phone. I hope he doesn't have children that rely on him to feed and bathe them.

I use my phone a lot, but even I know that when I am in a theater, let alone a fucking live production with real actors doing some real acting, I turn my damn phone off until it's over! That's the courteous thing to do!
