Gargoyle Statue's Penis Freaks Out Residents In Arizona Neighborhood

PAULDEN, Ariz. -- There's a 9-foot statue causing a lot of drama in Paulden, Yavapai County.

David Smith is a master welder and spent years making his metal gargoyle.

“I built it a certain way and I like it like that,” said Smith.

Smith’s neighbor, Leon Bonner, also likes the lawn art.

“I think it’s outstanding,” said Bonner.

Others neighbors don’t like the statue but didn’t want to talk to 3TV.

is funny or pathetic. It's a statue. For cripes sake, nobody is trying to put pants on the dog walking by and its junk is hanging out for all to see. Sometimes people just need to get a grip.

They say the huge statue is OK except for his enormous penis? LOL. Reminds me of Ashcroft and Lady Justice. Good grief people.

From the pictures, this guy's yard is several acres and you have to tresspass or have binoculars to see gargoyle junk.
